Opal Alterations is Canberra’s one-stop-shop for all your tailoring and dry cleaning needs. As well as providing alterations and dry cleaning services at their studio in Belconnen, they also offer the convenience of mobile services for dry cleaning and alterations in the Canberra and greater Queanbeyan regions. All of Opal Alterations’ services, including embroidery and tailoring, are of the highest quality at reasonable prices.

Their Challenge

Opal Alterations’ mobile services were not receiving enough attention, especially through online bookings. Their website exposure alone was not getting enough traction. The challenge was to generate new customer leads for mobile services through social media as well as to direct social traffic to the website. Opal Alterations was also looking to create stronger relationships with their customers using social media to communicate with them directly.

Our Strategy 

  • We conducted thorough market research to get an understanding of Opal Alteration’s situation in the market and target audience 
  • We chose the social media platforms of Facebook and Instagram to target various users from each platform
  • A social media content strategy was developed for each platform to create consistent content for the audiences
  • We created a comprehensive hashtag library to increase the reach of posts
